    @tradingforward23

Somewhere between being a Novice and being a Professional. Unconventional trader with a nuanced understanding of probability and its randomness.

I always believe that success happens when preparation meets opportunity and that the harder I work, the luckier I get.

I wouldn't be here without my Faith in Jesus. I don't know about you, but I'm a believer, and my passion and vision came from him 100%.

    • RE: Check Profit (last closed) block prevents placement of future trades

Problem solved. The Check Profit (last closed) block should be connected to the yellow output under the Once a day block for the operation to work properly.

    • RE: How to close trades at specific day and time?

@l-andorrร  Here's an update of what I found out with Expiration Mode on Buy now and Sell now blocks:

I explored the Expiration Option in the Buy now and Sell now block and here's what I did to make it work:

1.) Set the Expiration mode to Custom
2.) Under the Custom Expiration, choose "Value" and under it, choose "Time"
3.) For Time Mode, select "Time Stamp"
4.) For Time Stamp, input your desired time to close the trade
5.) Shift in time, select "Shift Forward"
6.) Depends on you, as for me, I put "1" in the Shift Days to indicate that I want to close the position next day at my predetermined time.
7.) I select "No" for Skip Weekdays for now until I notice something that needs to be adjusted.

      Positive effect upon implementing this:

It did not interfere with any of my EA's operation especially with executing trades daily at specific time and the closing of trades doesn't need to be adjusted daily and manually which can be a hassle for some traders.

Still, thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate you taking time to help me and giving me great ideas that I can work with in the future.

@CAVINCENT Hi there! I got busy with other stuff I wasn't able to reply right away. I discovered a way to make it work. I utilized the on Trade tab and set the conditions and executions there. Thanks by the way ๐Ÿ™‚

@l-andorrร  Hi there! I went back and calculate the positions to replicate what I wanted this EA to do on live markets. I ended up scraping this idea because of the risk it can inflict on my account. I am working on optimizing my current EAs to see how can I maximize profit and reducing the frequency of early stoppages. Thanks by the way!

    • Use 40% level of Fib as TP and close all trades

Hi everyone! I was away for quite sometime due to other obligations outside trading.

I am working on using the 40% level of retracement of Fib as my TP level and close all trades. I am not quite sure how to do it. May I ask for your ideas on this matter?
      Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: How to make Buy / Sell Now block work on certain price level?

@CAVINCENT Hi thanks for your suggestion! I would like to add that since I am using the closing price of the candle at 2:00 server time as my anchor, the desired pips away from closing price is let's say 500 units / pips before I want my EA to execute the buy / sell now block. This is where it gets tricky, at least for me as I tried to add buy / sell now block and execute it at a certain distance from my initial position.

The reason why I use the closing price on 2:00 server time is because I already have a position there and I would just want to add another position after the market moved away with a certain distance.

    • How to make Buy / Sell Now block work on certain price level?

Hi everyone! I'm tweaking some part of my EA and I'm working with predetermining a certain price level to execute the Buy Now / Sell Now block. The thing is, I use the once a day block to ensure that my EA don't overtrade on any given day and I wanted to use the candle close on 2:00 server time as my anchor price so that when price moves a certain pips away from the closing price on 2:00, my EA will start to execute the Buy Now / Sell Now block.

Reason as to why I prefer to use Buy Now / Sell Now block is due to some instances where price didn't trigger one of my pending order using a pending order block and I end up losing way more than what I allow.

      Thank you in advance!

    • RE: How to close all positions and pending orders?

In response to my previous message, I was confused, I thought that I managed to effectively use the "close position" block to close all opened position after TP or BE is hit. I was wrong. Here's a link to my project: https://fxdreema.com/shared/pydIRQVRb

Kindly check the "on Tick" tab and "on Trade" tab and please let me know what can I do to effectively use the "close position" block.

      Any suggestion is welcome ๐Ÿ™‚

@jstap By utilizing this, should I migrate my blocks inside "on Tick" to "on Trade" or the specific blocks inside "on Trade" would work seamlessly with my blocks created inside "on Tick"?

@biztet I haven't touched that part of creating a group. How to create a group? Is it "create area" and assigning a group #?
