    • Recognition where it is due

      This is just a friendly reminder:

      There are people here that give free advice and invaluable help to all these millions of questions raised in this forum. These people are the pillars of this forum because the blind cannot lead the blind. They are jewels that shine light on all our frustrations and thousands of trail and error problems, in testing of our wanna-be experts. These people do not have to help anyone and are just members like you and I but still they do it unconditionally for the love of it and for free. They are under no obligation to help us. To name just a few people like, @roar, @l-andorrà, @miro1360 and there are many more.
      I, myself have wandered through this vault of knowledge they shared to so many inexperienced and found many many times that there are many people, after they have been helped do not even say: Thank you!...... That is so lame!
      Would you guys please give them feedback and acknowledge their input with your expert by just giving a Thank you at least, after all, it is because of them that we are making progress.
      Thank you to those that do show their appreciation. Green pips to you!!!

      My apologies if I have stepped on anyone's toes.. This is not my intention.

      @roar Thank you for your reply....... Well if that is the case, I will take it as an opportunity to better myself in FXdreema coding and do it myself. I know for a fact, you main guys on here do charity work in helping out if I should get stuck, to point me in the correct direction. Thank you!

      Re: Some Insight Please

      My apologies to @l-andorrà .. I never saw or got a message that you replied. I think it is just respectful to acknowledge the fact that someone actually took their valuable time to answer to my plea... Sorry brother

    • RE: Changes

      @fxdreema Obviously you have reach a sort of maturity in your life where you have no desire/need or your lack of motivation has been brought on by some sorts of disappointment. I hope its got nothing to do with Fxdreema because this piece of work is brilliant. My inability not having something to show is because trading is not my main source of income, its more a hobby. I do not have too much time on hands to spent on playing. So please, do not take my performance as any measure to the success of your great accomplishment. Contributors such as miro1360, roar, l'andorrà and many more have created magic with Fxdreema. There are also many people here that generates an income from Fxdreema. No man, you have done mankind a great deed to develop this platform and I thank you, like so many others for it.
      You ask what advantages non members have? Well they have the same advantage to create an expert as a member except that they are limited a bit. I know non members here that make experts and ask members to do them a favor to compile it for them in Fxdreema and then mail it to them. Non members can start a post in the forum, search in Fxdreema vast pool of questions and answers, etc. So I do think you are very giving to people that do not pay. That is your personal decision but from a business point of view I do not think it very positive towards the members as such. Please not think I am complaining in any way. I pay my fee because it is worth to be a member and I get value for the money I spent. After-all Fxdreema is very cheap considering what you get in return.
      So you say you have not develop a successful expert, it is very hard to believe?
      Happy hunting

      @Abade69 , roar
      Thanks for the insight! very interesting and agreeable to me. I am using martingale with a MACH strategy. It only starts trading when the instrument I am trading becomes in an extreme position. I made it from a small 6 blocks algorithm roar wrote many moons ago here. Of cause it has grown to 274 blocks. I am not clever enough to put into words as what you have describe as your strategy but I always had a notion it is too weak to use only back test and find an expert good or bad. Also many experts work only short term and then fade. This is enough proof to me that no expert is suppose to work from the past into the future and eternity.. It needs to change as the market change.. Say weekly, monthly or yearly depending the pair that is traded. EURUSD for example has last week changed because it was to overbought.. Thanks for the insight

    • RE: MQL market not supported for .ex5

      @fxdreema So I am confused... I changed to mt5 because the big guns here said it is more strict making it better but now it seems using Fxdreema it would be better for the coding part to use mt4? Advice is needed please.

      @jstap, thanks for answering .. https://fxdreema.com/shared/wd3u7XTDc
      Problem no1. The average buys and average sells get confused.
      Problem no2. The average ranges and gets bigger the longer the expert run
      Problem no3.. The correct writing in the right upper corner should read average Sells not average Buys

      If you could help it will be much appreciated

    • Coding Problem?? or FXDreema bug??

      I have two similar codes, for Average buys and Average sells.
      For some reason the calculation gets mixed-up somewhere

      Group1
      Code for the buys: double lots = PositionGetDouble(POSITION_VOLUME);
      double openlvl = PositionGetDouble(POSITION_PRICE_OPEN);

      v::average_Buys = v::average_Buys + lots/v::total_lots*openlvl;
      }
      };
      Group2
      Code for the sells: double lots = PositionGetDouble(POSITION_VOLUME);
      double openlvl = PositionGetDouble(POSITION_PRICE_OPEN);

      v::average_Sells = v::average_Sells + lots/v::total_lots*openlvl;
      }
      };

      Notice the script in the Sells column.. Average Buys, which should be average Sells

      I get this error in the journal:
      2025.01.28 14:17:37.430 2024.07.12 11:35:24 Error: Invalid TP requested (55749.77880 for Ask price 1.08857)
      2025.01.28 14:17:37.430 2024.07.12 11:35:24 Error: Invalid TP requested (55749.77880 for Ask price 1.08857)

      This is my blocks for Buys:

      This is my blocks for Sells:
      f0f57b5f-93c2-430b-921f-5fda28518e5a-image.png

      So why would this happen? Is the another way to get a dynamic TP for group1 and 2 that will not interfere with each other?

      It gets worse when you have more trades running

      Help would be appreciated ... Thank you

    • RE: Profit Math

      The profit math idea does no work properly .. instead only use @roar algorithm.. you can build a decent martingale from this.. I have made a buy side that time to get the thing to work. The example is above.. You can just copy and alternate for sell
