PLEASE ADD THIS
-
@l-andorrà THE BALANCE WOULD HELP ME TO GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, BUT SIR HELP ME BUILD THE PROFIT/LOSS I HOPE I WORKS THE SAME WAY.
-
@kestra Then you can do this on the 'on trade' tab:

As you can see in this example, I selected the last 5 closed trades to gather the information of the combined profit/loss. You can select any other number you need, of course.
-
@l-andorrà OK SIR, I GET IT, BUT SIR CAN YOU PLEASE RIGHT OUT HOW THIS WOULD PLAY OUT, IS IT THAT WHEN TRADE IS CLOSED , IT WOULD SUM UP THE LOSSES ON THE 5 RECENT TRADES, IT WILL NOW ADD THE LOSS WITH MONEY IN THE CURRENT TRADE ?
-
@kestra Easy. You just need to use the same variable here:

But you need to be sure the value of that variable need to be positive. Otherwise it will not work.
-
@l-andorrà THANKS FOR THE OTHER THIME SIR, I WANT TO YOU TO HELP ME WITH THIS SIR, IT WOULD WORK FOR EITHER BUY AND SELL, IF THERE ARE MORE THAN TWO TRADES AND THE NEWEST TRADE HAS MOVED 50% OF CANDLE ID ON AWAY FROM ITS OPEN IT SHOULD CLOSE PARTIALLY, I BUILT THIS BUT ITS NOT WORKING.. THIS PARTIAL CLOSE WOULD AFFECT ONLY THE SECOND TRADE https://fxdreema.com/shared/1BCelIrR
-
@kestra I don't understand that part of 50% of candle ID. Do you mean candle ID 0? If so, 50% compared to what exactly?
-
@l-andorrà IF THE LOT SIZE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 0.05, AND THE DISTANCE MOVED IS HALF THE SIZE OF CANDLE ID 1 I.E THE PIPS AWAY FROM THE OPEN IS 50% OF CANDLE ID 1, IT SHOULD THEN CLOSE PARTIALLY 50%. IT WOULD WORK FOR THE SECOND TRADE AND SUBSEQUENT TRADES ONLY WHEN THERE ARE TWO OR MORE TRADES OPENED . I HAVE THE ONE THAT WORKS FOR SINGLE TRADES ALREADY.
-
@kestra Ok. In that case you will need to use groups. The first trade will be group 1 and all the other group 2. That way your closing condition should be applied to those belonging to group 2 trades only.
-
@l-andorrà OK. WHEN IT'S JUST A TRADE THAT WOULD BE GROUP 1, AND FOR MORE THAN ONE TRADE GROUPE 2 ?
-
@kestra Yes, the group used to place trade is what is used to control the trade.
-
@jstap OK
-
@l-andorrà PLS SIR HELP ME JOIN THESE TO THIS EA, https://fxdreema.com/shared/rQe5mMBL
- I WANT THE EA TO RESIST TO ITS INITIAL LOT SIZE, WHEN THE LOT SIZE OF THE LAST CLOSED TRADE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 500 LOT AND THE EQUITY IS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO $100,000.
- ALSO, I WANT THE EA TO RESIST TO ITS INITIAL LOT SIZE, WHEN THE LOT SIZE OF THE LAST CLOSED TRADE IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 500 LOT.
THANK YOU SIR!.
-
@kestra What do you exactly mean by 'resist'? Would you maybe mean 'reinitiate' instead?
-
@l-andorrà WHAT I MEAN IS THAT I WANT THE EA TO START ALL OVER FROM INITIAL LOT SIZE 0.02. ITS A MARTINGALE SEQUENCE BUT ANY TIME THOSE TWO SETS OF INSTRUCTIONS ARE TRUE FOR THE LAST CLOSED TRADE, ON THE OCCURRENCE OF THE NEXT SIGNAL IT WILL START ALL OVER AGAIN FROM 0.02 LOT. THANK YOU SIR.
-
@kestra In that case you will dfinitely need to use variables. The example I shared with my martingale project is doing something very closed to what you want. I suggesto you to find some interesting ideas there.
-
@l-andorrà PLS CAN YOU HELP ME ADD THOSE LOGICS TO THE EA SIR, I DOWNLOADED THE VIDEO YET WORKING WITH VARIABLES ARE CHALLENGING . THOSE TWO INSTRUCTIONS ARE WHAT IS LEFT FOR ME TO ADD THE REST ARE WORKING FINE. PLEASE SIR.
-
@kestra Such a specific structure would require time and dedication I'm afraid I don't have right now. I suggest you to share your project here and I will try to help you whenever possible.
-
@l-andorrà DO YOU MEAN THIS SIR ? https://fxdreema.com/shared/rQe5mMBL
-
@l-andorrà OR HOW THE EA WORKS SIR.
-
@kestra Here you have some initial suggestions. You can rmove all those 'if trade' blocks on to of your block trees on the 'on trade' tab. Thay are not necessary. Then you should move all those blocks on the 'on trade' tab to the 'on tick' tab. Otherwise they will never be executed properly.
Let's continue after you did all those changes.
