Ahaaa, 03.02.2014 is the date. Then I will update things, but I noticed some annoying differences in the folders structure, so I will need to see what is going on

Yes, some positives from MT5 are included.
I tried it on my Windows 8.1 and for some reason I was not able to make it work with it's own directories that can be found in the installation folder. Instead, it works with remote folder located somewhere in AppData/Roaming. In the same time on Windows 7 I can't make it use that remote folder and it uses it's own (I have UAC disabled). So, anyone, note this issue, and if you have SSD... I don't know
Anyway, I updated the web version to work with build 600. Now I guess it will not work with older builds anymore, so %(#FF0000)[please use MT4 build 600!]
In Global Options I added the ability to set data folder different than the one MT4 is installed, so if someone finds it's EAs somewhere in AppData/Roamind, he can set this specific folder.It's interesting to me that this step-up build is 600. I was thinking before that it will be very good idea if they let MT5 die and create new MT6... but 600 is also fine.

i'm using the online version. its a shame i just joined the site and started enjoying being able to build some EA's.please help

start MT4
open file > open data folder > MQL4 (and paste)
close and restart

and another thing, i noticed that when compiling the mql4 files produced by dreema there are many warnings , i'm a total newbie to meems that the structure of the programs has changes for instance it does not accept unused variabkes to be defined in the program you can only define variables that you intend to use in the code later!

I updated fxDreema to write files in MQL4/Experts, but if there are MQL4 differences... I don't know, I was not tested everything. More details?

the warnings looked like this : variable "total_history" is unused variable . another one was with arrays definition and the third was with the return function.
that's all i remember, i don't know how to export the compilation report.
this also happens to the simplest projects, i even tried it with an "empty" project i.e. no blocks, still the same.
i believe there are major changes in the new build . -

I have downloaded the latest version and also new build MT4, but am having the same issues, unable to get the EA to show up in the new file. I have reloaded the previous versions of both the MT4 and fxdreema so back up and running for the mo, although for some reason I cant get the labouchere buy/sell to run.
Are you able to message or email when the upgrades have been completed?Andy

Well, I have updated only where the files will go (in MQL4/Experts instead of /experts) and the compiler that will compile them (mql.exe instead of metalang.exe). For the local version - it uses the local compiler from the MT4 installation that is linked within fxDreema. I have not changing the code itself. I guess everything should be compatible, but who knows...
These days I'm a little bit busy to set up my computers, because my main laptop broke and now I have new one with various new Windows 8 problems, and my mind is not exactly on MT4. So, if you have simple examples or something that shows problems directly...
Otherwise now MQL4 gives some warnings like this "unused variable", but it should work with them without problems.

i'm afraid that the terminal will not attach the EA to the chart if it has warnings. i think its best that you try it yourself to know what we're talking about.
another thing, i'm a paying member and have paid to have more flexibility in building and using the generator, it doesn't satisfy me to hear that you're busy to give support.
i understand that there are a lot of free members here, however when you pay for a product you expect some level of support, so please look into these matters for your paid members sake.BR

I have personal life and I am very free spirit, so I don't like to be slave for anyone. Some people do it better when they are pushed, but I'm not one of these. And if you search for other similar products, I really really doubt that you can find something that can do more, is cheaper, and it has better support. I will send all your money back as soon as possible... if you want to.

no one said you're a slave to any one! why the attitude man?!! you should have taken it as a word of advice so as other paid customers won't get back to you with a similar complaint if they read that post.
everyone has a personal life to live and we understand you have time limitations, but when you undertake to offer a service in return for a fee you should expect that customers will come back to you asking for support and they'd have expectations in that regard, besides customer feedback is what helps you tweak the system.
and most importantly this is a critical problem which will affect your product critically because it will not produce working code anymore, like i said even an empty project produces the same issues.
and finally i don't want my money back i want to use the Generator not because its the cheapest, because i like it. by the way because for the long run its more expensive starting from the second year.
so wake up ,you have a great product at your hands and people appreciate it and you should be happy for that and appreciate it as well and not snap.
