Add a shared link to show what you mean. MA's are a lagging indicator so they tend to react after something has happened

Add a shared link and say what you are expecting

Candle close on 0 would be the current moving value, on 1 would be the last closed price, draw a trend line with the buffer you are using to visually see if what you want is happening.

Ok. The first thing is knowing how periods work. How are they decided? Are they changed on a daily base? Automatically? Manually?
