Zigzag does not show up in the strategy tester

Hi everybody,

I try to use the Zigzag indicator. To begin, I just want it to show me the lines in the MT4 strategy tester, but nothing.

For information :

• if I load the Zigzag indicator available in MT4 on a live chart, it is plotting ;
• if I load the Zigzag indicator available in MT4 directly in the indicator tester, it is plotting ;
• if I load my EA including the use of the Zigzag (on the strategy tester or on a live chart), it is not plotting at all ;
• the EA seems nevertheless to open orders in the strategy tester, but I need to see the lines in order to work properly.

What is the problem ?

Well, I think I have the answer : I loaded the ex4 instead of the mq4 file and it shows up perfeclty fine !

But now, I can't get my EA to load the mq4 file : is it a problem ? Or directly working with the ex4 file in MT4 is totally okay (sorry, the question may look irrelevant).

I spoke too quick : it only shows up when I press the stop button in the bottom right corner. When the EA plays, no Zigzag lines on the screen...

Still don't have the answer for MT4... But I have the datas in real time in MT5 while running the EA tester. Problem (kind of...) solved.
