Recover deleted file - indicator

Hi everyone,

I've accidentaly deleted an indicator and I don't have any longer its source code on my computer... Does anyone know if there's any way to get it back somehow?

Also, does anyone know how I can download the indicators uploaded on the platform (have been desinstalling MT4...).

If you mean meta indicators, they are already in FX and platform, most files are in the data folder. the only way I know of to find deleted files is to look in your trash bin folder.

Indeed the platform does not save any indicator uploaded. It just analysis the indicator code to get the information of input variables and output buffers.

One way to recover deleted file is to use recovery software (like Rescuva), but it is not 100% working. Maybe you better get help from friends who are familiar with IT.

By the way, what is the indicator? can't you download it again somewhat else ?

@sktsec Thanks a lot for your reply. Actually, I cleaned up Custom Indicators and found an old project that I wanted to recover. As the indicator was deleted, I'm unable to use it again, and I don't remember which was the indicator (this project is a year old or so). I found the EX4 file, but that's not of any help... So I guess, it's too late.
