      Hi,
      Good day

I am trying to build EA for ORB strategy but confuse which block to use.
EA will use 1st candle of the day to mark upper and lower level limit for whole day to trade.

Can anyone advise which block to use.

@l-andorrà The Opening Range Breakout (ORB) strategy in Forex is a simple yet effective trading approach focusing on price movements at the start of a trading session. Here’s a more concise overview:

Steps to Implement ORB in Forex:
          Define the Opening Range (OR):

Time Window: Choose a specific period at the start of a major Forex market session (like London or New York open) to define the OR. Common durations include the first 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
Range Calculation: Identify the high and low prices during this period to establish the OR.
          Identify Breakouts:

Bullish Breakout: A move above the OR high signals potential upward momentum. Consider a buy.
Bearish Breakout: A drop below the OR low indicates potential downward momentum. Consider a sell.
          Trade Execution:

Entry Point: Enter the trade when a breakout is confirmed, often after a candle closes outside the OR.
Stop Loss: Place it just inside the opposite end of the OR to minimize potential losses.
Take Profit: Set based on previous price levels, a fixed risk-reward ratio, or another strategic metric relevant to the breakout.
          Risk Management:

Employ strict risk management, including stop-loss orders and position sizing based on your risk tolerance and account size.
          Key Considerations:
Market Volatility: Understand that Forex markets are influenced by global events, news, and the opening times of other markets, affecting volatility.
Currency Pairs: Some pairs may be more suited to ORB based on their volatility patterns and liquidity during certain times.
Adaptation: Tailor the ORB strategy to fit the 24-hour nature of the Forex market, focusing on times when liquidity and volatility are higher.
          Summary:
ORB in Forex leverages the concept that the initial market movements can set the tone for the rest of the trading session. By identifying and acting on breakouts from the OR, traders aim to capture momentum-driven price moves. Success with ORB requires a good understanding of market hours, currency pair behavior, and disciplined risk management.
