      Hi Guys,

Im building an EA using the 'Time Bomb' blocks. When searching on this forum i found some older posts about backtesting with the Time Bomb blocks (posts from 2018 and before). The posts stated that it was impossible to backtest while using these blocks, because the results would be unreliable.

Do you guys know if this still is the case? Is it possible to get a reliable backtest while using the Time Bomb blocks? Please share you experience with these blocks.

      Thanks in advance,

      Carl

I have got the same problem. on MT5 the results are more reliable. I'm still trying to figure out a way to solve the problem but so far the best way is after backtesting run the EA on a live demo account for a week and try to optimize according to live data. it takes longer but more reliable

If you click the ? for the block it tells you why, it has something to do with backtest time not working the same as real-time
