Cant find EA in metatrader folder
-
I am only using a demo version of the application. I tried to export an ea with only two commands just to test that it can be complied and loaded to a chart after which I intend to move to a paid subscription. However I can find the ea in my meta trader folder. Can i get help with this.

I had earlier tried to export an ea with over 10 connections a few times. Might this be the problem?

I don't understand the problem. "I can find the ea in my meta trader folder" sounds like the way it should be. EAs must go in "Experts" folder, but where is this folder located... long story http://caetara.dev/help/-/you%20should% ... 20terminal
For the web version of fxDreema I made special plugin for Chrome to write files directly into the right folder: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... mkdhjdgdkp

I have had this sorted out now. Thanks. Still have a few problems getting my EA configured. Firstly I cant get the strategy tester to place my pending orders where I tell it to. I want them at either the previous candle high (middle. I keep getting orders outside candle sticks or the current price range. Secondly I cant get them to follow an expiry rule. Also it doesn't take every cross between my two indicators, although I fixed the problem of it not taking crosses after the two were equal for a time. Also cant get my closing rule for pending orders or trades to work even though I tried the every trade route. Some help with this issues would be really appreciated. The link to the project is below.

Whatever problems you have, in the way you explain them to me I can't say much, because there can be many reasons. It's different if you show me a project and tell me "I expect this to work this way, but it does something else".
And you are showing me some project, but what is the problem in it? You say "Also cant get my closing rule for pending orders or trades to work", but what is that rule? Now there are some blocks and they probably do some logic that can be right for someone else, but not for you. Why? What do you expect to happen and doesn't happen?
