How to write a successful EA

Currently so many professionals study EA, in the end there is no successful EA it? There are no long-term stability can be profitable EA? Forex trading is very difficult to learn!

I have one suggest as a start...

Firstly, go to library to borrow Swing Trading books.

Create a project using Fxdreema following the strategies.

Optimizing the strategy in the market you trades.

Backtect at least 5 years results to have profit factor, # of trade,/year, ....

I have some good EAs and strategies that you can be implemented either trading manually or by an EA. I am working on this one at the moment. It is very complex, but I thought I would share it with you to show you that EAs work! I made 136% in under 2 weeks with another EA I made last February. If you have any questions for me please ask! The backtest is from 2008-2016.

Oh and I haven't optimised it my EA works using pattern reversals and fibonacci breakouts so you can not optimise some of the features.

ryangrey, never believe in results like this. The Tester has it's own little flaws and sometimes you can make an EA that exploits them. This is especially true if the EA is working with small stops and does things very often. This is because ticks are generated, there is no information below M1 and everything inside the minute is fake.
Before believing in such results, backtest them with Tickstory. And on a demo account of course. Recently I was playing with Tickstory. It's a pain in the butt to make everything to work (+ you have to buy it), but then it appears to work.

Does this strategy involve lot increasing or have you just increased lots because of your trade balance being higher?
I was a bit disappointed... you said you would share... I was hoping the EA and not just the results of a backtest.
