Hi, I am new to this forum & hope that I will get some good advice on my requests / questions. Recently I've changed my job from a reputed company Centrum forex to HDFC bank. After working for 15 years into forex market I am very much interested to do something by myself. I am looking someonline suiggestions & find out that Instead of doing it as job I can trade in forex online. I don't know much about online trading as I was into forex conversion only. I have recently created a demo account on alpari but didn't used it yet because today I read a some threads online that "demo accounts can be dangerous" & now I'm confused.. should I use demo account or start on live trading? Please help

hi there I've been trading demo for 1 y and half I will start trading after 2 month from now I've been trying to read all the articles on the Internet so I become good trader.
I personally treat demo account like if it's real money not only virtual numbers I get greedy and I fear when trading demo this saved me many time it's not easy to treat demo like real account you but have to it's practice for you emotions later and I'm sure the real account going to be harder but I believe you should go with at least 3 months demo first

abanob, you can try Real with small money and you will hate the losses the same way. At least this is true for me. When I'm "trading" (I'm such a loser, in reality I'm giving money, not trading), I hate it when I lose every time, no matter the amount. But I'm not sure that this is good, it's not so healthy to be afraid of losses. I don't like the fact that I lost in Forex more than 10 times, now I believe that this is all I can do and I don't even have to try again
