Setting criteria for indicators before applying the trade conditions

How do you set conditions you want in place before applying the trade conditions?
For example: I want to have the 20ema above the 50ema and for price to cross the 20ema before applying conditions for smaller timeframe emas to cross triggering the trade.
If I conect all of these conditions it does not work as they all have to happen at the same time to trigger.
Anyway around this?
