Variables and "Adjust" facility

Can anyone comment on why, when there is a vaiable in a condition , putting a value in the "adjust" area stops it from working.
If I repeat this with a constant, it works fine.

Is this an inherent feature of variables in that they cannot be "adjusted"

It works for me all the time. Could you please share more infor about that 'Crossover' variable?

No you're right. I did something else wrong when setting the variable.
