If EA triggers so many opposing trades in one candle because of erratic volatility
-
is there a way to use counters to cease activity for that candle?
-
-
Open time filters in the left panel. You will see many options for limiting how many times a trade is made.
-
Thanks Tony, I have used this but consequently, no it does not prevent further additions or initiations of action. I don't get it.
-
You can try no trade nearby and select buy and sells or if ?
-
@len-1 So far I haven't used these features myself but if you share a project, maybe I can play around with it.
-
@hadees This is probably the easiets solution, yes.

@l-andorrà @Hadees
I ve seen it but the problem is when trades are taken in that same candle, then the no trades nearby doesn't seem timed correctly. I will have a pool of trades closed on the beginning of a candle. A parent trade will start later on in that same candle and initiate a string of others that, by the next candle, are doomed.

@len-1 Can ypu please share your project?
-
I encounter this in many different eas but this problem is evident here -
@len-1 I mean the link of your project.
