Strategy Results, Good? Bad? Okay?

Just stopping in here to see how these results compare to everyone elses EA's that are being created. I completed this one on the last day of 2020 just to see how it did through the year.

Any suggestions on how to get better modelling quality within the MT4 software, better than 90%?

nice work man, i cant even get one to have a profitability of anything over 30% haha

@jsauter86 If you have some money to spend, buy a Tick Data Suite 2 license. Their high qualty data never goes below 98% no matter what.

@l-andorrà Maybe while the robot is running this week, maybe it will get enough money to afford tickdata.

It just missed taking a trade right now, it was supposed to enter long at 1.22535 today on EURUSD and it hasn't.

^ @l-andorrà you saw how price came down to my robots call twice yesterday and repelled it? @ 2000 GMT it was 2 pips away and has been climbing since. I'm expecting to close the trade at 1.23062 for a 52 pip profit.
(I think it was 2000 GMT at least) MT4 is in server time, right?

@l-andorrà The one that I posted? Yes. It takes winning trades with good profit percent based off only 2 rules. It doesn't take many trades.

@l-andorrà if you're asking about the one running, It made $30 this week only risking 1%. Now I've merged 2 EA's together that operate on different price action rules, so we'll see what happens. Both are 78-80% accurate.

@jsauter86 and both absolutely never draw down more than 30 pips per trade, or even 3% of absolute total of beginning money balance.

Absolutely. I will let you know after forward testing is complete. I think I will have enough data in February. So far it traded exactly as historical. 4 win, 1 loss...and that was on a week for shorting.

My expert advisor gives me a rating of 98% when I test it and I get much better results than these results, and I am in the process of developing it now, and when I reach the 100%, I will photograph the results and present them to you. You get with the designer. I think you've accomplished something wonderful.

@zaher-ahmad nice work! but it isn't about achieving 100% you can never be a perfect trader. if you have a ea that is better, please post the results. lets talk theory!

These are the results after a full year of trials, but I cannot speak more in this regard
I built the robot with several programs and several sites, but I did not get the result 100%. I am trying to reach this result here on this site. Frankly, the site's capabilities are very large, but I need enough time to reach what I want to reach, and I am confident of that
I am trying to solve some problems for my robots right now and try to make use of every minute of time

those are decent results, but why are you trying to achieve 100%? I would also assume you are testing this on very small windows of time with such few ticks tested?

If you were to win 51% of trades you'd be a profitable trader, you would absolutely be very profitable with 98% accuracy.

Let test a specific time frame together, maybe I can help.

What are your results only from 2020? What pair are you trading?

i cant tell what your strategy is, but I know you can't achieve 100% because you are taking many trades. Most people who want to achieve higher results already have good entries, they just take less trades more often, and increase the lot size on the trades that are better timed and depending on market conditions.

This is what I am currently doing to develop the robot and I am confident that I will get amazing results higher than 110% because I have seen robots get 160% and I am trying to approach these results, it will be crazy .

its literally impossible to be 160% accurate...that would be predicting the future, and even then you can only ever be 100% accurate.

I promise you that I will send you a picture of astronomical numbers on a real account, but wait for me, I need some time my friend.
I never think of making a profit equal to 90%, but much higher than that and when the robot is 95%, I think it is a failed robot.
My question is why would we use robots if he did not have the ability to multiply accounts many times?
