Advice on how to shorten fxdreema learning curve
-
Hello guys, I’m new to fxdreema and I don’t have any coding knowledge. I’ve read the fxdreema “how to” and instructions, as well as many forum posts. I’m finishing an introductory course at udemy, etc. So, I’ve already put many hours on it, but I fell that I’m progressing very slowly, for the time already invested.
I’m sure many of you we’re already in my position. So, what have you done? What helped you the most?
I would appreciate some advice in this journey.
Thank you -

might help just a bit. -
@pintto In my case I had to dedicate a lot of time in this forums asking for help. Simply don't stop asking. You'll eventually improve your skills here.

@pintto Hello,
As @l-andorrà mentioned, the forum is a great place. I would say that before asking, search for what you're looking for and most probably you will find it. This is what will shorten your learning time.
Other than that, if you couldn't find what you want, or no one knew how to do it when you ask, the way to go is with a lot of trial and error. I launch FxDreema and start testing different kind of ways and backtest until I get what I want. With FxDreema you can get a way to achieve about 95% of what you need, then the forum information can cover the next 4% and https://www.mql5.com/en/code the mql5 source code library will cover the last 0.9% .
If you come across a problem that fits in the 0.1% of unknowns, then you 're out of luck

Hello guys,
The lack of structured learning material makes the approach to fxdreema a trial and error thing. And the search in the forums for solutions is very time-consuming. In my concern, if I have to dedicate a lot of time to something I want it to be worthy, so I'll probably go to the zorro project.
Thank you very much for your advice. -
theres no real guidance on trading, using platforms, building EA's, developing strategies, money management...regardless of the platform you use. Most of what you see is an opinion, or a suggested way to do something.
Good luck in your endeavor.

@pintto
About how to build a specific strategy, I wouldn't follow the advice of l'andorrà posting a new topic everytime you face an obstacle.
Personnaly asking questions rarely helped me, and I finally ended finding the solution by my own. Hence as I understood the problem I was able to extrapolate it to any system of the same type. Still, the forum offers some start points, but avoid copy pasting.About the strategies either you stuck to the conventionnel common trading style with mediocre-ok results at most, or you invest your time in learning scientific approches and more advanced strategies.

Practice is the key. I had the same feeling when I was doing my first EAs, it was really very hard to accomplish the logic I want. But I just kept on working on different strategies that came to my mind until one day I just noticed I already a have better understanding of FXDreema. I wouldn't say I'm already an expert but I feel I'm already comfortable with the program. Cheers!

@seb-0 Precisely seb, I totally agree with you

Surely everyone appreciates their time and wants things in the quickest most efficient manner, but everything takes time no matter what route you choose. Care to get together and share some stats elsewhere?@pintto
No matter what route you choose, know that ultimately you have to know how to trade or develop a strategy. You can't just go through a course in building EA's and expect to build something that is profitable. Nobody is going to give you their strategy either, that's why I created my discord. For people to share strategies and those who want to learn everything from strategy, to building, and past that to testing and using MetaTrader software the right way. If that interests you, we do it for free and the community is growing rapidly. The more you become a part of us, the more is unlocked for you to access as far as what we are working on as a group. We are all learning more every day and nobody is has too big of an ego to say "our group is the best."2 other people replied here who also offer paid services. I don't know much about CMax, but lAndorra has been here for years helping people and he's still here. As far as Ive seen nobody has had anything negative to say about either of those fine folks.\

@tipsywisdom Hello Tipsy, first thank you for your advice. I was considering doing the Trading Nut course you've mentioned but was holding myself because it's expensive and I didn't know if it's worth it. But if you've done it and are satisfied, that's encouraging. fxDreema it's great, but I've decided to put my time and money on the Zorro project, if you check it out, you'll understand why.

@pintto you've piqued my interest. It too is free, and that's good to at least look at and see what its about!
