How to open new trade when a trade is closed
-
Hi, I'm looking for a simple method of opening a new trade when a trade is closed (hit TP),. Basically I want the closed trade to be repeated, with all it's parameters (SL & TP). I see so many methods of doing this on FXDreema and it all seems cumbersome and out dated. This is a software for non programmers so I don't know why there isn't a simple function to repeat a trade without pulling your hair out ...
When I took a breaking from trading forex, i traded on Betfair, (Sports betting) and they have software where you place lay bets, green up function and "repeat trade" (what I'm after here) and I thought to myself only if forex trading could have sophisticated platforms like this it would be so fantastic....and here I am looking for a function to repeat a trade and can't find it, it's such a joke....
I did delete the original post as i got negative feedback from people implying I'm a spoilt child.....
The thing is I'm a trader and not a programmer and just fed-up with this out-dated MT4 and the struggles you have to go through to get EA's working properly. All I mainly see are moving average crossovers etc and the baby easy stuff to put together. If I showed you the creations I've designed it will leave you speechless, so I am not lazy, as was implied from another user, but just fed-up of this platform and not getting answers, and functions that should be readily available.....I might look into cTrader, I've used it plenty of times but not many brokers use it. I just think the makers of MT4/5 are lazy and I should not have to do the hard lifting when they should and the owners of FXDreema, that what I pay a subscription for. All I want is a simple function and it's just so much hassle.
I remember when I first started trading years ago I was trading stocks and shares and they has the exchanges like ARCA, EdgeX etc and that was was a nightmare and this continued for many months and I thought there must be a better way for placing trades .... then someone told me about Ninja Trader and that was like a miracle, the platform was modern and so easy to use.... So yes, I will moan about FXDreema and MT4 making my life hell.... and yes I will look into using another platform.

I just want a simple method of repeating the last winning trade and it's a living hell, I shouldn't have to go through life making connections here there and everywhere with multi coloured blocks,....there should be a simple function.

@jacksonuk Read your last post then! The answer you want was there if you deleted before learning what you need, then the problem is yours.

@jstap Hi. I've tried what you suggested and no joy. It seems like no one really know how to do difficult things. But I blame FXDreema, they take our subscription fee and can't be bothered to provide some sort of manual instead of everyone asking each other questions on how to get things done. It's pathetic.

@jacksonuk What I sent works, create a shared project and ask about what is going wrong then help can be given

This is what I mean, I shouldn't have to go through this hassle when I pay a subscription fee and the owners of FXDreema are too lazy to provide some sort of extensive manual for users instead of user trial and error to figure something out. It's a simple solution where there should be some sort of function. As I mentioned in previous post, I used the BetFair sports betting/trading associated platform called Fairbot and you just press a button to repeat the last profited trade etc, so if this can be done there it can be done here, I feel like I'm back in the 90's/2000's when computers and the internet was pretty new to retailers, but science and technology has moved on a great deal except FXDreema and MT4 world.
