My whole EA suddenly resized all blocks. All connections deleted. Also Constants and Variables deleted.
This has happened three times now in 2 days.
Only one project open in one tab.
Today it happened when dragged "Draw Shape" into project.
Yesterday when it happened, MT5 project was changed to .mq4 and .ex4 at the top instead of MT5.
Have lost alot of work, Twice.
Could anyone tell me why is this happening and how can I fix it?
      Many thanks,
      Jim

It's a browser problem. Can you try login to your account from a different browser?

          Hey L'andorra,
Thanks for your reply mate - Was using Edge, have tried using Chrome but still same. All info lost.
I suppose I will rebuild from scratch and see if it happens again. 3 times so far.

              Thanks fxdreema,
I did read that after the first time it happened.
Definitely only had one project open in one tab.
              Changed browsers to Chrome.
After the first crash, I did Import Project mq5 file from last week as skeleton - changed the name and started rebuilding.
              One project, one tab.
Dragged a Draw Shape block into project after over 20-25 new blocks and bang - all blocks went blank, resized to tiny, all connections deleted, all constants and variables gone. Tried History to undo - didn't work.
Maybe the Importing was the problem second time - but have done that for years to save time and never had a problem.
Think I'll just have to start again from scratch.
Let me know if you have any thoughts/theories because as you can appreciate, it's a lot of work to lose.
              Thanks again for your reply.
              Cheers,
              Jim

                  And happened yet again....
Deleted project again and imported a different 200 block skeleton to start rebuild.
                  But it has happened again.
Changes from MT5 project to .mq4/ex4
                  All constants/variable gone.
All blocks blank and connections deleted.
                  4 times now.
Others have reported same crash problem - we all can't have the same project open twice.
Admin please help - FxDreema has become unusable in the last week yet I am doing nothing different to what I have been for 2 years ...??!!

I just had the same problem.
All constants and variables are gone.
Skeletons has remained intact without any connections being deleted, however Conditions blocks have been resized and conditions have changed.
I have tried undoing blocks via the history- nothing has changed. I have tried reloading the project yet it stays the same as mentioned above.
I've tried using a different web browser but still the same outcome.
Please could something be done to restore our projects @fxDreema

I think I fixed this problem, although I could not understand why it happened.

I'm still trying to find why the whole website is being so slow. I was thinking that big projects are to blame, but I was watching how the EA builder is working from different angles and I can't confirm that this is the problem.

Now I will focus on the forum. Look at the traffic these days:
                        77306df4-68f0-4ac2-949a-5351500c5d40-image.png
There is some obvious increase of traffic since these problems happened, although it doesn't seem too bad. But I will try what will happen if I disable the Search functionality or the whole forum for a while.

I think I found the problem. There is a very slow database query that I wrote after I updated the forum. This query searches for existing user by email. This query is used every time when someone registers a new profile, or when someone is logging in with email.

The good news is that maybe huge projects are not so big of a problem 🙂

I fixed this slow query, now I expect everything to be smooth. The CPU already looks low and beautiful.

I had noticed it was slower than usual but thought it just my connection.

It's interesting that it all started suddenly. My first thought was that someone is attacking the website again. And by the way, the other day I banned one IP that was trying to open different non-existing paths, but he was not the problem.

There is a guy who has multiple accounts, paid accounts, and some of these accounts contain many projects, and some of them are big projects. At least 14 of his accounts were active in the last few days. I saw one account with more than 4k projects, another with more than 7k projects, and the active projects that I noticed contained more than 2k blocks. Also, because I'm monitoring the logins, I knew that there are lots of logins to his profiles through the day - all of his accounts have similar emails, it's very easy to spot them. It's like half of all logins are to his accounts, and maybe all logins are by email. First I focused on the number and the size of the projects, but at the end it was the logins by email that contributed to the problem. This guy is doing some kind of business and it looks that he got more clients or more work lately.

Well @fxDreema whatever you did has definitely sped things up - before, opening or saving block changes etc were literally taking 5-10secs per save - whereas now it's back to 1 sec or less.
So I think you nailed the problem my man, thanks again🙏❤️

@fxDreema have you implemented a maximum block limit per project ?

Suddenly today I tried to add a new block to an admittedley large project and it says "For techincal reasons the maximum number of blocks that can be created is ____".
I must have been operating well above the max blocks limit for months and never saw this message.
Essentially my project is now unable to be worked on unless I somehow find a way to dramatically cut the number of blocks which isn't possible.

Is this something that has just been imposed ? Is it related to the other issues in this thread ?

I really hope you can make an exception for certain projects as I have been using fxdreema for years and never been aware of this restriction.

                                          Please help. Thank you.

@Mantadiver you have 10000 unique blocks without any pattern among the blocks?

If not, I'm willing to bet you can reduce at least 70% with some new structuring. You up for it? 😉
