problem with variables

Hi friends, i'm trying to accomplish something that I believe to be fairly straightforward, and yet I can't figure it out. I tried doing it with flags and now variables:

You need to separate your conditions into two block trees. One should control when buys and sells are activated and another one for the trigger itself. Although I don't fully understand it.
