How do I loop my EA?
-

I only set it up to do sells. but this what youre looking for?
I was sure to capture for you how this will win and fail.
-

-
@jstap thanks for the help!! @Ijoh and @TipsyWisdom am feelin a little embarrased caz thats the same strategy I've been tryna do hahaha
-
@Ijoh l see we have the same vison! athough I didnt think of multiple trades....@TipsyWisdom I've been trin out Ijoh's idea but with the many pending orders block....(I've been learnin with trial nd error lol

-
So did that work for everyone?
-
@tashab hello Is it possible to share your project?
-
@TipsyWisdom wasnt able to try it but the one loop EA seems to be doin fine (@TashaB I advise u to stick to ur plan A

-
@LadyDolares I thought I already shared it, its simply a loop (buy at a sell's close and vice versa).....@TipsyWisdom ur right trading like that is the best way to lose cash haha @Ijoh I advise u try somethin else
-
@tashab they'll find out that it just becomes this continual loop because the market wont continue to cycle as much as theyre expecting and then all the sudden youve got 50 open trades and the problem just continues to exacerbate itself.
-
@LadyDolares @Ijoh ....test that loop EA.....it will look something like this;

-
@tashab oops...sorry actually this is the wrong image but its still a looped strategy I tried
-
@TipsyWisdom this is the result of an EA with 10 pip trailing distance (and moves in loop I mentioned)

-
@ijoh thats a good start!

But as I said, you will take losses. Its more rewarding to accept them and figure out how to enter a trade better....exit better....or stay out of losing trades better
-
@TipsyWisdom Thanks!! So on the question I been askin entire time on how to make it with other different sized orders....EACH IS TO BE FOLLOWING ITS OWN LOOP.....(like a spiderweb)
BUT....
When I tried it with only 2 loops (one with 10pip nd other in 15)....they each multiplied per SL.. -
@ijoh are you trying to increase the lot size or decrease it?
-
if its increase, you're talking about a strategy commonly used called Martingale or Paroli. Another account suicide, balance draining maneuver.

Its in the money management section of the buy and sell blocks.
-
@TipsyWisdom no....I simply want orders with different trailings stops (all looping into oppsite orders with their trailing stops)

-
@ijoh simplicity sake, a gridding system?
-
@TipsyWisdom ohhhhh yes thats exactly it! But each shld loop
-
this is what the curve of a gridder looks like. Someone built this once and gave it to me....but its just not a good system.
