USING ATR AND VARIABLES

To anyone who can help, suppose you want to use the ATR value at the point of entering a trade in another block, how do you use variables? For example, if the 50sma crossed above the 200sma and you took a long position, and the ATR value at that point was 30 pips, how do you store this 30 pips in a variable to be used in another block? Any help will be highly appreciated.
