My name is Plamen , I'm Bulgarian living and working in London.
I'm feeling very comfortable developing EA's and also got enough experience working as full-time trader. I trade mainly FX , I'm building my account on compound basis and make withdrawals couple of times per year.
Developing an EA is very difficult and it's not straight forward process. People needs to understand that MT5 is very limited platform. Therefore it needs lot of programming and customisation and proper broker to create synthetic, instruments which provides more information that the EA can use.
EA's needs to adapt and adjust it's indicators every tick, otherwise in short period the strategy or the indicators won't work properly.I'm also working on another project, whoever comes to the group will see hint of it. I'm hoping for only experienced people to join and please take this seriously, I don't like procrastination.

@ontradingx This is a form of already coming together, you just wrote a detailed plan on bringing the right minds together and filtering the time wasters or free loaders.
A common theme i see with people is they seem to want this perfect golden EA that will work in all market conditions, the reality is it will never happen, for example do we wear one outfit for every season of the weather, no, we wear outfits accordingly to the current season, its the same mindsets with EAs.
What it really comes down to is that if a group do come together its about delegating to peoples strengths with the one vision of winning and succeeding. If someone is pessimistic and negative they can go kick rocks somewhere. Everyone ultimately is here to create EAs to make money and to be honest you need to have an ego but you just need to know when to play your position. The issue is everyone wants to be the Cristiano Ronaldo, Michael Jordan or Tom Brady of a team. Just play your position to achieve the vision.

@fxdreema Like i said in a earlier post its not about EVERYONE coming together just a serious few and yes youre right you must always adapt your strategy thats why i dont personally believe in backtesting because the markets are forever changing, as long as your EA or strategy is based off of certain principles then youre all good

I understand your point of view.
On your question: Someone who has a profitable strategy, there's the age old question - why would he want to share it with other people?I think that many times we cannot hold on to this thought or question.
I, for example, know Professional Traders who have already proven results to me and live "only from the market", I tried to develop the strategies they gave me but I could not, because it is even difficult for me to apply them in the real market manually by opening orders, but it may be that there are other programmers who can interpret and reproduce such ideas within an EA. -

Now about the issue of "too many people" using the same technique" and the strategy becoming obsolete.
I don't really believe in this theory, not least because I've never seen it happen in practice.
Brokers actually have a system that "studies" the algorithms that exploit flaws within their system, especially market makers, which is why many HFT'S are not accepted and are soon blocked, I saw this happen and I see this constantly happening, brokers prefer orders to be opened by a human rather than a robot because thinking, vision and calculation are slower to notice failures and opportunities.
Not in the very distant past have there been through a forum people coming together to try to move prices, this has happened, however greed and lack of planning led to their failure.
What else exists in the financial market in my view is that people are looking for "miracles" instead of consistency and this can lead to ruin faster than to paradise.
It took me many years and it's only been 2 years since I started to understand what the market really is and how the market works, until then I was just a speculator, playing heads and tails, now I'm looking for opportunities. -

@OntradingX ADAPTING AND SELF ADJUSTING EA's won't be on the radar and always will be step ahead of human reactions and decisions. I don't know why we need to have the small talk here . It's very simple, NO CONCEPT (strategy) will actually work, on all instruments and all conditions. If any of you manage to make some profit on manual trading it's only because you can take decisions that you can't program the EA to do, otherwise you'll be swimming in money.Like I said it's not about the strategy it's about mathematical risk management and the ability to adjust itself on every single tick. Everything else is bullshit.

It is necessary to combine knowledge of the market with knowledge of automation and also the tricks of brokers. The same strategies are unlikely to work for years and years because the market suffers from various fluctuations whether due to news or wars, pandemics, economies, etc...
But this is the job of creating a robust strategy. The analyst should be quite aware of these difficult circumstances and be able to make the necessary adjustments in the code to overcome this. This is the mark of a true analyst.

you use indicators, I refuse. We wont be able to work together. Sorry friend! I wont even inconvenience myself with downloading them these days...lol

But in all seriousness, @OntradingX you are right. As I said, project manager is required for something like this and each position requires much time, much more for the manager of the whole project because they will have to interview people for positions to even get started on something like that. @tipsywisdom LOL.. Just joining but #facts..I am always learning I know nothing of EA until a week ago but Ive been trading for just short of 3 years. Can't succeed in either I would imagine if you think you got "gold". LOL.. daily student no matter the last trade always a lesson learned to grow solid. Sad but people are people..
