I Need help fixing this
-
After using this model for my Trailing Stop, the stop loss kept following the price movement both direction up and down instead of just the direction of the predicted price
How can I fix it?
-
@tec-nacks You can remove the first block on top, it is redundant in this case. You should use the standard trailing stop block instead.
-
@l-andorrà yes...I want to use the default Trailing stop but isn’t getting me what I want ...
This is what I want ::
I want it in such a way that when price moves into profit away from open price 50pips, the Trailing stop jumps to 30pips into profit from open price and begins to trail at a distance of 20pips interval.
This is actually what I want. Can you help me with a sample build pls?

@tec-nacks In the trailing block you have start (50pips), trail is (30pips), step is 20 pips.
-
@jstap thank you but it didnt work as expected...check the image before, that was a 50 pips gap and there was no jump into profit with 30pips locked in profit

@tec-nacks As I put in the above post is how it works, I do it regularly, change settings and back test, you will get how it works.
-
@jstap i see now, it is not working for Group Trailing Stop but the single Trailing Stop...
Any idea why it is so?? Because I want it to trail group trades
-
@tec-nacks Group I have rarely used, this does allow stop to move back, could be handy but I don't find it so.
