how to close one trade to open another

hi i m wanting to know how i can get one trade to close and another to open when market condition changes using a simple macd cross strategy

i m pretty sure close profitable trades function is not working as i cant get it to close a trade even on the lowest amount

In MT4, it works as I use it quite often. Maybe adjusting the option of profit amount, say. 1 pip or 0 pip, could make you work. However, for a very very small profit, it cannot be expected to work well as there are slippage and little price fluctuations.
