Close Partial and Modify Stop help

I need a guide on how to use Close Partial Block - the idea is to close a certain percent of the lot size when price reaches a certain level of my fib
also how to use the modify block: the idea here is to move stop loss to a certain price level when price reaches a certain level of the fib..
I intend to use custom (pips) to replace custom price
Help with a guide pls

Your request is too wide. Focusing on more narrow targets would help.

thanks, i did but it kept closing all the position - any reason for that?

i am having the same problem, the block close partially not only closes but also creates a new trade which is not what we want.

if what you is to close some lots as the price moves in for your favor then my solution was this
just create as much sell/buy orders you want with different TP. no need to make it too complicated imo

@tec-nacks ur welcome im still a new user of the platform and fiddling around with stuff. tried 2 ways to do this, with dedicated blocks and backtesting showed that its not working as i intended. went with this DIY kinda thing.

You need to remove that 'if position' block. It is redundant. Are you sure you are applying the correct percentage close to the trade. If it it too small, the terminal will close the whole trade.

@l-andorrà I remove the If trade not different. Yes I am using the default 40.
Do you use the close partial block personally/?? and does it work for you ??

Yes, it works perfectly fine in my projects. Is your broker maybe limiting the partial close options? That happened to me some years ago.

@l-andorrà ooh I see probably, I'm back testing with Deriv, though I've switched to multiple tp levels instead I'll definitely retry with another broker
