how to use a .ex4 indicator on a mt5 project

I just recently downloaded an indicator that is a .ex4 but i want to incorporate it on my mt5 project that i am building, any steps to follow on your to achieve this? @roar x @l-andorrà x @fxDreema

ex4 files only work on MT4. If you can have the source mq4 file of the indicato you can convert it to mq5

@ambrogio , no i dont have the mql file. but cant I somehow create a mt4 project then load that indicator as a custom indicator then download the mql4 file that way, then convert it to mql5

i just dont know how to add a custom indicator onto the chart via blocks here on FXdreema

I am afraid it won’t work, because of missing the indicator in MT5

If you still find the MT4 indicator is very profitable in a MT4 EA, the only way to make the signal work in MT5 is using signal copier, say, the one made by FXBlue. That's why such signal copier exists.
