What pair did you trade on?

Did you use VPs if so how much were your latency?

Did you use limit order/stop orders or market execution?

        Guys,

everything you need to know was already mentioned in my initial post. HTF will work on DEMO but not in a live account of IC Markets. IC Markets does not provide real prices in live accounts, because they are not liquidity providers or market makers, as they clearly write on their website and as they have provided via Email as I was confronting them with this issue. Try whatever you need to, but don't be disappointed afterwards about your wasted time and efforts. I checked the video and the prices are accurate - that can only be given in DEMO accounts. As we know you can easily change Metatrader in a way that it will show Live instead of Demo. You can tweak your EA as much as you want, the broker will not be able to provide you that exact prices - for good reasons. The order will be filled to the nearest possible one - to your disadvantage ... so what is the point of a HTF EA if you have that info? I used a VPS in NY in order to test it with US30 ... at the end of the day you will get what the broker provides to you. Even if you could make the EA only trade the exact prices, then you would still exceed the max 200 requests per day, which is the limitation of IC Markets - where they would block your account ... if you get it working in your live account - feel free to tell us ;o)

Would it works on futures? AMP broker allows the use of MT5.

The only edge on the market is to lose less than you win...

@MMBInvest yes i give up already for backtesting hft or ea with pending orders. You are absolutely right, dont waste anymore time , real market is different. If the broker didnt do that, the LP will make something

one of the other things i saw when trading on live account with ic markets, is that the stoploss is not really placed where you want everytime the orders are placed. So i think adding some stoploss threshold will do things like(if your stoploss is placed more that the required the bot should automatically delete the pending order and try to place a new one .if still the stoploss is greater than required the bot will try to delete and place a new order with your correct stoploss. Slippage is not really a problem cause you can adjust the bot's maximum slippage and if the maximum was hit the bot won't take a trade.. So i also know that guy who sells an hft bot for 1000usd i've studied his bot ..how far is the stoploss placed etc things like that. I've noticed that his bot's stoploss is reepected and its not breached..i once his bot's comment saying (sl violated)after an order being cancelled then it came to my mind that he might have set his hft bot some strict rules when the ic broker tries to put it where the bot does'nt want which it will automatically cancel that order.. i'm saying what i've learned i'm seeking help too i know if we do this together we won't fail..but some of us lack capital as we are able to add some few restrictions to the bot about stoploss but don't have the money to test on a live account. So this is my side of the story ..

Tried running my HFT EA on IC Markets Raw Spread account. Latency from my VPS (in London) was around 1ms, which was great. But after a few days, I noticed increasing slippage and occasional rejections during high volatility. Seems like their infrastructure can handle HFT to an extent, but it's not ideal for ultra-fast scalping. Still testing with limit orders to see if that helps.
