Wish for (more) level functionality for indicators & candles
-
Dear FX,
I have been using your generator for more than a year and the only two functions I have missed so far are the following
-
I use the the highest/lowest level (candles) option quite a lot and I wished this function would also be available for indicators. For my EAs it would be useful to know what the lowest or highest level was of - for example - the CCI indicator over the last 10 candles.
-
A second wish would be to use the actual reading of the highest/lowest levels to find support and resistance lines. Say that the highest level reached over 10 candles is 1.34, I would like to check how many more candles in the past topped at 1.34. Three or more hits would confirm the suspicion of a resistance line at 1.34. It would be of course great if I could use the reading of "1.34" to draw a line

I think the addition of these two functions will make the generator even more flexible and I can't think of any missing functions after that.
I post these wishes as a topic in the forum because I guess these may be put on your to do list (at least I hope you do). I read the topic on the block renumbering below and I think this would be a great addition too. I had to renumber more than 200 blocks by hand and this was no fun.
Thanks.

I added simple renumbering function in Options, it only makes numbers as small as possible, it fills the missing numbers actually. I think I have to add option that can renumber blocks depending on their placement relative to other blocks... but this can be incorrect sometimes.
There are two ways I can do something for indicators - to add drop-down menu in Condition somewhere in "More options" that will be able to choose between "Current value", "Highest value", "Lowest value" and so on. I don't want to create another category where the same indicators will exists, I want them only in one place. But this option is not from the list of fast updates

The other way is in another block, but a block can't return value to be used in Condition.Second wish - I don't think I will add such a thing in Condition, it sounds to me too specific. And it sounds too specific for a block as well, but if you can give some name of this functionality at least...
