Hi all.. Im Bruce.. Nice to meet you.. new guy here and getting things setup.. I had a few questions and thought id just reach out as well as say hi.. Also-- any new guys that want to work together to help get up to speed -- pm me.. I feel like 2 or 3 minds workings on figuring out a problem is always better then just one struggling by yourself...
Ok.. So here are my questions

Can i save my ex4 and mq4 files to a folder that is different then the data folder in my metatrader.. ? I tried to change the path in the options and it wouldnt seem to let me do it..

Can fxdreema work with renko? I am thinking the answer is no-- but thought id ask none the less..

on every video and demo i see (as well as others on here that are making scripts) there is a "no trade" blue block. But Im not seeing that in my list of blocks.. I only see a tan "no trade is running"... is that the same thing?

Hey, I'm pretty new myself as well, however, I have been excelling pretty quickly I hope lol. Check out my two recent threads. There should be some good information that I think can help you get started and not get into the sort of problems I faced and had to figure out myself. I will send you a private message, however, I prefer to exchange numbers and talk this over the phone or text since that I think the communication time would be faster and better for each of us to understand. We can discuss that part in private message.
For question number 3, no it's not the same thing.

... I agree about touching base via phone and or even skype.. so much easier to just chat vs typing everyyyythinnggggg out.. Ill check my pm and we can touch base.. Thanks for the reply but your interface and my interface look different... I am using the downloaded version and it seems that my options are different then yours.. Im thinking my "no trade/order exists" is the same as your "no trade".. there is no other block that says anything close........

aaaahhhaaa, that could be it. I'm using the web-based version. I didn't even know there was a downloadable desktop version. I just jumped right into the web-based and started playing around with it. I even think the web based one looks nicer lol.

I don't understand how new people still discover that desktop version
- No. The desktop version uses these paths to save the output file
- Yes. Well, I don't know how to work with Renko in the Tester, but if you put the EA over an offline renko chart, it should work with it
