Currency Base / Quote

Hi

I'm running my EA on different currencies using same magic number, I want my EA to the detect if one of the trade is open with same Base currency then it will not open a trade
example if GBP/USD is already open and my EA want to open GBP/CAD it should be restricted to not to. how can I achieve that ??

Interesting. I know how to filter symbols but not base currencies. Dear roar, could you please iluminate us?
