I just wish thank @Xfire and @l-andorrà for the great post and tutorial and also for sharing the post @l-andorrà it is truly price tutorial!

I finally managed to create my indicator and also to create an EA out of it successfully :))

To also note th Ea is not 100 perferct still needs monitoring , i created it to assist with execution coz i'm trading these Synthetic instruments from Deriv dot com and when they break out or change trend they spike out so fast i end up having late entries or not having confidence in placing trades further so the Ea helps with this a lot!

On running the Ea i build an EA for taking partial TP so i tested the EA with custom indicator on 5 and 15 min time frames and EA did really well spotting the different markets and made executions immediately a signal came out Just what i need hehe..

Ok enough with my yapping and have a look at the results its all you @Xfire tomorrow i become a billionaire it will be you and @l-andorrà you alsso helped me with the partial tp ea i'm still grateful!

Tests done demo real environment prices as they happen not back testing.

@len-1 Man, this smells like a problem with the indicator's code. I guess you will need a programmer here to fix it, I'm afraid.

I have tried getting some ex4 custom indicators to work by adding input parameters that I got from the input tab.

I couldn't get them to work so I experimented with the indicators that come with mt4 and have an mq4 file as well as the ex4 file.

I was able to use the ex4 file but only if I used the input names given in the mq4 file. For example the Bands indicator didn't work with "Bands Period" but did work with "InpBandsPeriod".

Is there a way I can get around this problem? I have messaged a couple of the creators of the indicators and am waiting for replies but I am testing various ones out so don't want to have to try to contact all of the creators.

why do you want to add a Band indicator? Band indicator is as default in Fxdreema

I am just testing with the band indicator as it has the mq4 and ex4 files.

I am trying to make ex4 files work with fxdreema but I can't get them to work so trying to work out why.

It seems like a problem with the input names.

It seems to partly work using no spaces in the input name and using a firefox browser rather than chrome but it only showed the first buffer so a bit strange.

Can anyone advise on how to add custom indicator ex4 with enums for Moving averages.... when I type it into the enums space it disappears when I update
