Execute Trade when EMA = Stoch (Level 80)
-
Hello,
help with a condition where a trade will be executed when 5 EMA >= STOCH 90. Thank you
-
Store EMA and stoch values to two variables with "Modify Variables" blocks
Then make the comparison on a "condition" block -
@vish Thanks. Which ones are "Modifying blocks". Thanks
-
@vish basically for a sell conditions, 1) 5 EMA > 20 EMA 2) 5 EMA = STOCH90 3) 20 EMA = STOCH90. do i need to make variables for 5 EMA, 20 EMA, STOCH90 & STOCH10. Thanks

you can share what you have done?

@vish https://fxdreema.com/builder,
this is where am stuck, i am able to create condition: 5 EMA > 20 EMA BUT struggling with 5 EMA = Level 90 of Stoch (1,1,1) & 20 EMA = Level 90 of Stoch (1,1,1), this will execute a sell trade of TP: 10 pips -

@satoriforex2k18 what EMA, of the stoch or of price? The Moving average indicator only gives you price values, not indicator values such as stoch 90.
If you need EMA of the stoch data, you need to use custom mql4 code. (iMaOnArray)
-
@roar I need a sell trade to execute when 5 EMA is at Level 80 of Stoch (1,1,1).
-
@satoriforex2k18 so you need to apply moving average to stoch data. This is a bit tricky, but can be done with the iMaOnArray function
-
@roar So it cant be done for mt5 platform? baiscally i want a sell trade to execute when 5 EMA > 20 EMA, 5 EMA is at 80 level (Stoch), 20 EMA is at 80 level (Stoch)
-
@satoriforex2k18 is using EMA really important here? If you used SMA, you could just get Stoch (1,5,1) because the %D parameter is SMA.
edit: its the %D parameter
-
@roar I need EMA because of its sensitivity toward price action
-
@roar is there a way i could restrict the EA to trade Vix75 only & to close trades once 5 EMA crosses over 20 EMA
-
@satoriforex2k18 yes you can
