    • Drawing a horizontal line at a fixed value between 8 am and 3 pm

So I want to draw a horizontal line of a specified value between two time stamps say start at 8 am and finish the line at say 3 pm,

Using the DRAW LINE from Charts and objects and getting a value through Market Properties at 8 am, even using a Time Filter doesn't seem to stop the line being drawn across the whole chart.

      Any ideas please.

    • Writing the Hi and Lo of a previous candle to separate variables

This has probably been addressed before, but I cannot find it-
How do you write the values of the previous candle's Hi and Lo to separate Variables to use in trading decisions.

    • How to keep a running total of profit/loss once EA has started

Can anyone give me pointers on how to include a running total of the Profit (or Loss) from several trades once an EA has started, with a view to closing the trading when a specific profit total has been reached (from more than one trade).

    • RE: Variables and "Adjust" facility

No you're right. I did something else wrong when setting the variable.

Thanks for looking at it though.

    • Variables and "Adjust" facility

Can anyone comment on why, when there is a vaiable in a condition , putting a value in the "adjust" area stops it from working.
If I repeat this with a constant, it works fine.

Is this an inherent feature of variables in that they cannot be "adjusted"

      Thanks

    • Getting Current Market Price and writing it to a Constant

I want to get the current market price and insert it into a pre-named constant in the "Constants/Variables" table. Is this possible ?

    • Block ID's when copying nto a new project

When I do a global copy of a project and paste it into a brand new project, all the block numbers increase by 1.

Is there any way to maintain the original block numbers?

    • Writing a value to a variable

This may be a very basic question but how do you take the current chart value at the close of a candle and write to a named variable and then read that value later?
