In the project so far, On line represents the daily high and one represents the daily low and I want them to be levels on my chart that I plan to implement into my strategy. My question is is there a way to start the line at the candle and only expand it right instead of also going backwards

What are you classing as a price channel?

@sktsec my EA isn't producing any results at all. When I run it, I get the journal entry that shows every second its active.

The custom indicator itself will load it. No need to worry about it.

I'm not a programmer but I guess (it's just a guess) that the problem is on those constants with a '1' value. Did you modify those? If not, I'm afraid a programmer should take a look at it.

@sktsec I thank you for responding. I had to step away from the project for a few days. But when you say set a bool variable, can you elaborate on that a little bit. I know how to set up the condition but I don't know how to do what you're suggesting as a way to do what I want to get done.

@dgoodwin418 you can you can add a constant so when you adjust in inputs it changes, you could also add a enum list to selecy from a drop down, this would be quite an advanced concept though.

@jstap I understand what you're explaining but it doesn't make sense in the context of my question. The EA does what I want it to do on the first trade so the dark pink only working with light pink doesn't explain why it does what I want it to do the first time but won't repeat it. Also, I don't want a no trade block because my second area of conditions is dependent on a trade being open from my first area of conditions. That's why the second area has the if trade block and the first one has trade count <1.
