    • Set stop-loss to be the lowest between a range of candles

      Hi FxDreema

I have a question regarding setting the Stop Loss in my buy pending order: I have set it to Custom (Price Level) -> Candle Low -> Candle ID -> can I write "1, 2, 3" here? Because basically I want to put the SL at the lowest point of whichever these three candles are the lowest.

      Thank you.

@miro1360 said in Set stop-loss to be the lowest between a range of candles:

for this use Market properties: Lowest price (candles period) .. and set here your period of candles, which can be start 1, end 3

Thank you very much, this solved my issue. I have a 2nd question: How can I add 5 pips below the low of the candle range as the stop loss price? Because as it stands not the stop loss is at the same price as the candle low, but I would like it to be slightly below.

      Thank you.

    • Take Profit price gets Modified

      hi fxDreema

I am sorry if this is not a bug but I think it is, I have spent many days trying to isolate the bug but I could not, I hope you can enlighten me.

      https://fxdreema.com/shared/P9isUx2ye

in this EA I made two pending orders per condition because I want two different Take Profit (TP) price levels. The two TP price levels are correct when the block runs and the pending orders get put out correctly, with two different TP prices. However once it triggers, then one of the two TP prices will move and become identical to the other TP price. If I try to manually modify the TP price of one of the TP limit orders on the MT4, the other TP limit order follows suit. I am confused very much.

      Is this a bug?

Interesting note: this does not happen in the Strategy Tester. In the strategy tester, the TP price levels stay the same after there is trigger entry ( stays correct).

    • NO TRADE IS RUNNING

So if i set it as "any market" does it consider only the trade that I attach it to? Or the whole account?

      Thank you.

    • EA stays in "Waiting for tick" mode

Hi all. I am new here but very keen to learn. I am sorry if the question is too simple to answer. As a start I have downloaded an EA from the "examples" tab in this website and tried to implement the EA as-is. However, after loading the EA on the chart, it stays stuck in the "waiting for tick" mode... I must be missing something. Would anybody care to help me?

      Thank you.
