All working fine since I connected MT4 to the server.
Whilst offline I realised that the EA was calculating the lot sizes with 0.1 steps rather than 0.01 steps.
I also keep backups for few days in the past, but obviously you don't need this anymore 🙂
Just figured it out.
I discovered the "check age" parameter. Set it to the number of hours corresponding to the number of candles I wanted to screen.
