Candle 1 open<20ma, candle 1 close>20ma 15m TF, set flag to true, check flag and see if candle crosses on 1m, count the time with a variable, set flag false if doesn't happen, and wait for another cross.

Tradingview is trending. It seems quite indicator based which is not my style. Sure the strategy development is easy and user experience is good.

Trading Station is good and reliable, but LUA is too difficult for me to write practical EA.

Some may use MultiCharts, but it was once a nightmare to me. It is easy to write a simple program, but not really something you would want.

Python sounds good if you use AI. Believe me, it is very time consuming to develop a simple AI project for trading. You need a lot of effort to 'guess' what hypothetical model would fit the market.

Zorro-trader claims that it can trade with AI using C programming readily. However, no way I can find it practically work. Much marketing + poor SDK/support

It signifies a function. Sometimes you need to put stuff inside the parenthesis, sometimes not, depending on function. But functions always need them to identify as functions instead of variables.

I will write a more detailed example in a custom mql code block, but you will have to troubleshoot it from there (using the Print() function for example)

Use a Higher TF candle sequence to filter range for example if you take trade on a M30 TF use a H4 series of candle to check if you are in a range, if lets say 4-5 H4 candles are withing thesame price area, thats a range

@gtoat777 Put this line into a condition, PeriodSeconds() - (TimeCurrent()-iTime(NULL,0,0))>836892 this will count down the candle time in seconds and check if the time is above 3.5 hour.

SOLVED

Rather than using the Bull and Bear blocks ive seen it is better to simply using a condition block for each candle and do it as pictured, this example is of candle 2 being a bullish candle

@tipsywisdom LOL.. Just joining but #facts..I am always learning I know nothing of EA until a week ago but Ive been trading for just short of 3 years. Can't succeed in either I would imagine if you think you got "gold". LOL.. daily student no matter the last trade always a lesson learned to grow solid. Sad but people are people..
