sorry i don't understand the technical s to the indicators but i know there is no price vale to mac-d it is numeric inputs but on the mac-d indicator we must put something in the price selection eg open, close, low, high...

so why does it trade on buys then?

this is how i manually trade and it works fine in manual setup but for some reason i can not get it setup to auto trade this way

this setup only does buy trades I have been back and forth on this issue and I have been told multiple things but i just can not get it to work correctly

Hi guys I am triing to make a mac-d adviser that trades on an hourly chart when candle is above or below the signal line when i create it only the buy condition places trades with no sell trades and i don't understand why. I have tested multiple ways to try achieve this goal but with no luck. When i use condition mac-d >< value it trades unreliably but when i use candle >< mac-d signal it trade good but only for buys as i sad earlier so if you can help would appreciate it very much

ah ok. I have tried that way tho it just hard to find the good numeric input to put in value I found as market can change in any range above or below the 0.00 mark so thats why i chose to try the histogram candle above and below the signal line instead was surprised to see that it even traded at all lol. have had this no sell issue before when i first register to this site just not sure how it was fixed maybe clearing chart history done it ut i cant remember how roar told me how to do that

by the way i have tryed the macd settings you posted and it not trade good that way this way is much better and ore accurate i have found during testing

no i can still get only buy orders from the bot

to show i test on long and short

just ran test with candle id at 1 and still no sell trade i ll try reconfigure blocks and try again

and i have tried multiple ways to try get a sell trade 1 using 2 no trade at the top with no ts 2 connect to one no trade at the top using the red and yellow connectors 3 triied using just one no trade at the top and connecting only to the red one

no matter how i build a bot now i can not get a sell trade to start lol i guess i ll just leave it alone for a bit and hope it sort it self out

i just use as extra security for stopping loses
