I was referring to generic indicator. Did I miss something? But correct me if I'm wrong, the logic behind placing vertical line based on an output buffer should be the same regardless of indicator, no?

I have an idea I would like to test with AO, I need a vertical line drawn only when oscillator changes color from red to green and vice versa. I can seem to figure it out because there is only one output buffer?

Any suggestions welcome.

Correct, the height is fixed by the close of the indicator at end of week or month.
The width will grow as time moves forward and eventually close again and redraw with new weekly period.

Hey Guys, hope you are all doing well.
I'd love to make an edit to an indicator I hold. The indicator shows information that stems way to many days back and so would love to edit in order that it can only show for today, for today and today only.
How can I do so?

No the rectangle or lines would not move. The box or lines would be fixed until next period, which would be week or month.
Let me see if I can be more clear, lets say I want the area between pivot points highlighted by either horizontal lines or a rectangle for previous week/month, but displayed in the current week/month.
So in this example I would want the area between Weekly S1 and R1 highlighted by lines or box but projected forward into current week/month.

Hopefully that is more clear.

Hi Guys,

I am struggling to piece together a way to have a rectangle drawn and projected forward for the upcoming week and month based upon a custom indicator. It could also be horizontal lines projected as that would work as well.

I need the lines/rectangle projected forward from the weekly/monthly indicator closing level of a few points. Possible?

Note: I am a complete newbie when it comes to this program and I have worked through the how to section already.
