@johnle1024 How are the conditions passing? If the price only crosses the midline once why would it do it over and over again?

I am still trying to figure out how to get it where 2 of my trades will close when it crosses the midline of a trendline while the other two will then create a trailing stop, for some reason it either creates massive amounts of trades or simply doesnt work, I will post a screen shot of kind what it looks like right now.

@fxDreema Any help would be great, still havent been able to efficiently do this, i have tried the for loops and also if trade block, for some reason it opens a massive amount of trades when it either buys or sells?

I basically want me EA to close hall my trades when it crosses a buffer but keep the other half to ride while having a stop loss, I cant seem to figure it out and the things I have tried it refused to close any trades, should I be in the "On Tick" chart or "On Trade" chart as well? Also admin if you see this the EA is called Trend Reader V.02. It seems that as of right now it just creates 30-40 trades even though my conditions for the close trade is not the same as the buy condition(I made Sure to check FxDreema's Post About It).

@cpxiom I figured out how to have the bot read up trend and down trend my only problem now is with the indicator itself, the SHI Indicator that is, how do I set it where it switches trends less often, for example there will be a uptrend forming and it will see that and will put trend lines around it, but when that trend has a spike upwards it readjusts to a farther back trend and will form a different trendline when the other one is still trending up. Have you found a way around this, currently you can see what im talking about if you back test from 04-09-19 to 04-16-19 on the H4 time frame with it.

@cpxiom Well i actually did find a indicator that measures slop with a line(slope direction line), i used a large period since I will go off the trend of H4, it shows a blue line when uptrend and a red when down trend. I just cant figure out how to pass it when the line is either blue or red.. and indicator appear never works for me.

@cpxiom Okay thank you.. what is the equation to calculate the slope of the specific currency? I may be able to go from there. Also we can talk on the forums if you want to continue, or we could use another platform if it is easier like discord?

@cpxiom How would you get the value compared to the slope? Could you do something like, "if the slope is positive, then trend would be upwards", and vice versa?

@cpxiom Would you by chance no how to make it where the computer only buys when the slop is increasing, whereas the computer sells if the slop is decreasing?

@ambrogio For some reason when I back test the bot refuses to buy or sell even when the bid/ask prices surpasses TL1 or TL2, do I need to set the candle ID to 0, 1, 2 or what do you recommend?
