@jstap Detaching that formula did not work. Value shows a zero now. Take a look at this screen shot and tell me what you thing? https://drive.google.com/file/d/13lCPe-gxECQDNfTR4gQ75HWJpY5otX3Z/view?usp=sharing

@jstap I'm going to try and remove the bottom formula and see what that does. Based on how i'm readding the conditions of the formula, this may be why it's adding on pips and increasing in increments of the exact number of pips.

RE: Simple Pip Counter for all open trades on terminal.posted in Questions & Answers
@jstap That didn't work. I placed a small lot size trade on real account earlier to test the progress we're (you're) making. The trade is currently in retracement drawdown and at -25 pips, and the counter started off showing just that, but every tick it adds an additional -27pips to the counter even though the trade hasn't moved. For example it now shows a negative 3,448 pips. On a positive note it appears to actually be showing in pips. Your commitment to helping me figure this out is awesome!!

RE: RSI as a signalposted in Questions & Answers
@andrewfrank What is the purpose of the reset function? Also I would add some sort of moving average filter to help identify trend. That way short positions are only taken when the market is trending down, and vise versa for long positions. Here is what you wanted in action without the filter (Not recommended to use without a filter).

@jstap Took a quick nap, but i am back up and at it. Thanks! About to adjust it to "any symbol". I thought about doing that, but since we were working off your recommendation and with the delay in communicating here,i didn't want to take us out of sync on the project. I will reply back with my results.

RE: RSI as a signalposted in Questions & Answers
@jstap Gotcha, I usually don't try to start from their projects. I takes alot of time to go through what they've created and try to figure out where they are going with it. So i tend to focus on what they want to actually happen and either create or explain that. But, now I do understand your previous reply.

RE: RSI as a signalposted in Questions & Answers
@jstap The project I created and shared with him was based on what he requested by stating, " I meant to create EA where RSI should work as a signal. This means: RSI has to go below oversold level first (e.g 30) or go above overbought level first (e.g 70) then EA can take order. (RSI does not need to stay above/below. It can go wherever afterward)". I applied it to my charts before sharing and it does just that. The only thing different is the trigger levels, and possibly the rsi period that i use may be different from what he uses.

Simple Pip Counter for all open trades on terminal.posted in Questions & Answers
If someone is willing to help, I'm more of an intermediate fxdreema user with limited understanding of variables. Is there someone willing to share or make a video tutorial on how to create a print on chart simple pip counter for all open trades on the terminal? I am even willing to join a discord channel to watch a live explanation on it. I comprehend things better via video or live explanation. Thanks in advance ! @miro I believe you are an expert on this.....

Here I just created one for you with Terminal Alert, On Chart Indication, and Auto Trade with adjustable S.L/T.P/Lot Size. Hope this answers your question. I also structured it for a trading strategy that I actually use. https://fxdreema.com/shared/BHcxJFJSc

Custom Alert Message How To ?posted in Questions & Answers
I have created an EA that is basically a manual trade assistant with an indicator in it. The indicator is built in the EA and not using a custom indicator. Everything works just fine, I just want to add a custom alert message that displays a custom message from me, the currency pair, and the current timeframe. I know where to place the block, I just don't know how to build it. All i could get it to say was "alert message". None of the parameters i set in the block are being displayed. Thanks for your assistance.
