Sorry. I miss understand your answer, It is good approach to use (check profit period of time). but as I have seen, it just define a profit as a money, any method we can use it as percentage (for example 20% profit).

Thanks for your kind replying, actually I wanna stop the trading after achieving a profit target, not to close any profitable ongoing trades, because many times after a strong market movement, will be a long and strong period of undesired volatility!!

I am wondering if there is a way to tell my EA to stop the trading daily after achieving a certain amount of a daily profit, and start again next day!!

I tried this method in the attached example. it looks not logic or not working!!,
Could you please advise me if there are better approach.!

Thank you very much, it worked, and indeed using HIgh/Low ID: 2 was much better!!

Also if I wanna make it simply as, The Buy when candle close above the previous ZegZag High, and sell when Candle close below the last ZegZag Low !!

Buy: should the Candle close is above the previous High High Top formed by ZegZag .
Sell: The Candle close should be below the Lower low formed buy ZegZag.

I am trying to use the (Ticks per Seconds from Market properties) to avoid opening positions when the tick speed is very high like many times when trade the Gold, but it seems the EA not tacking it in considration it keep opening in a very high speed movement so that the opened position case a big looses, so anyone can help me to improve my EA.

I'm attempting to calculate the lot size for trading gold (XAUUSD) using the (% of Equity => Lots) formula, but no matter what value I input, the EA always uses the maximum lot size, equivalent to using the full margin, even when I set the divisor at 0.005 . Can someone guide me on how to use this more effectively?
