I’ve been using Broker FP Mаrkets with a VPS from ForexBox for the past 6 months. Execution speed is solid — under 30ms ping from VPS to broker server. No major slippage so far, and withdrawals have been fast (1–2 days). The VPS has 99.9% uptime, but once it did restart during a Windows update I forgot to disable. Overall, pretty smooth experience, but keep an eye on auto-updates!

Wait, are you trying it on MT4? That will never work. I assumed you were trying it on MT5. That is possible there.

Candle ID's change, because current is always 0, would make more sense to record the time.

Then probably you should move it to the bottom. THat way it will still be executed once per bar but just at the exact moment your conditions are met and not at the open of a candle only.

Thanks! Any thoughts on my other post about a brief pause? When backtesting, the EA sometimes does not calculate the MA from candle 2 and back and instead calculates from candle 3 and back. I am concerned when going live that it will do the same. I suspect that I force the EA to wait one tick it will use the correct periods to work out the MA.

@roar do you know if the seconds filter starts at 0? So if I filter 1 to 60 will the EA start at 1 second past the minute? I am also wondering if every n ticks could work. Basically I want the EA to wait for one tick to happen in the new period before continuuing with the calculations for opening a trade.
