The platform will always add a new number at the end of the name of the object. There cannot be 2 objects with the exact same name on MT4. You will need to rename it partially only so that the last figure doesn't have to be needed to identify it.

I think I've found what's the issue with this error.

Its directly tied wrong tab when selecting variable:
(in loop) Trade/Order in Loop - you can use that on any Tab. (needs testing)
(on Chart) Event Data - only on Chart tab.
(on Trade) Event Data - only on Trade tab.

So if you (on Tick) want to get data from lets say (on Trade) Event Data it will give this error.

All you have to do is move that block that you use to get variable to correct tab.

It's silly and I never given much of a though a why there are specified tabs well now we know.

It would be good if admin would add some explanation.

@william29 Definitely a custom indocator wil be easier to use, but check its buffers. Not all buffers can be correctlu idetified by fxDreema.

I think you only complicated your life with that system.
If you are interested in the min and max on Monday you just have to take them once and keep them in a variable.

@william29 Then you need to create a loop searching for that day of the week but looking backwards. I'm afraid loops are not my field of expertise, though. Maybe miro or roar can help.

So I found my way around it using 2 more blocks and a couple of variables and custom code.
It works but it should have not been a problem in the first place.

That pink 'In loop' Operand requires a 'For each trade' block over it. Pink operands in general don't work well if not 'controlled by a 'For each trade' block.

I would understand it if you mean yesterday's high/low. Then it is possible that an M15 bar today crosses it up or down. That would make sense, but not on today's daily bar. If that is whay you are asking for, I can give you a hand, but I need you to be sure before that. 🙂

I've found that news and world events destroy every single EA in a back test that's otherwise profitable. When you make an EA and back test try looking at the dates it failed, usually you'll find it's actually a non-farm payroll day or a press conference. It's enough to make an otherwise profitable EA look like it fails every time.

I solve it.
It looks like it was not working or working when it's not suppose to because time frame was not selected.
Its all working now, than's anyway.
