It also works if you go to the settings of the EA and set Magic Number to 0. This is the same value as the MagicStart input parameter of each EA... which I probably need to rename to MagicNumber 🙂

In this example that you have shown, you have displayed a close all trades if equity exceeds balance by 2%. My only problem with this is that it has not option in the conditions block to make the 2% a variable for other users.

Is there a way to get around this?

What says "buy", "sell" and "indicator"? I don't really understand the question here, but if you want to get rid of those inp_ prefixes, just use Constants - https://fxdreema.com/demo/mt4-constants

I have no plans to add more stuff in these blocks or in that category. But this block can at least detect the row of candles, so what remain is to check their sizes. What comes in my mind is that ATR[1] is giving us the total size of each candle. There is one block "Indicator moves within limits" that can be used to check if any of the indicator values for the last N candles is lower than X value.

The default is to open History Center and download some data. There are some options in Options-Charts that I think change the way that history data is downloaded, but I'm not sure about this. The problem is that very often we got these holes of missing data for some reason and I don't know what is the reason for that, but it sucks. Also it actually depends on your broker, because the data is downloaded from the broker.

You can go in MetaTrader's installation folder and look in it's "history" subfolder. I think you will understand how things work.

When backtesting, just before the test, a giant file (it depends on the period) of data is generated and it contains all the generated ticks that will be used for the test. Those ticks are generated from the lowest available timeframes. If data from M1 is present, ticks will be generated out of that data.

Note that you can only use external history data in MetaTrader 4. MetaTrader 5 does not have History Center.
And you can only backtest 1 symbol at a time in MetaTrader 4. If you try to backtest another symbol that is not the current one, you will get an error message.

Hiding indicator is possible in MT4, but not in MT5 I believe. There is no block to do that. I don't want to add functionality only for MT4 or MT5 alone. So the way is to use the MQL4 functions manually in "Custom MQL4 code"

Changing colors is not possible at all, as long as I know.
