I’m trying to make a Trailing stop loss that starts after pips are in profit, I’ve tried many combinations but so far to no avail.

In the trailing block, you have start, pips in there will not allow the trail to start until trade is that many pips in profit

Should I turn of fixed stop loss and take profit in buy and seek blocks in order for this to work properly I tired this but saw no effect.

@jstap also in my input parameters straining start mode has “none” as a value.

@jstap https://fxdreema.com/shared/TE6vUH0Eb please if you can run it through the tester you'll notice how far back the stop loss is from what i am aiming for which is a stop loss of 15 that moves every 10 pips in profit.

The initial SL doesn't matter, it will adjust as set. step would be 10 to move every 10 pips in profit.

@jstap ok, I have researched it a million times but maybe fail to realize. Let’s start here. Please explain the trailing stop and step and start to fxdreema wise. So I take from what you said. The initial stop-loss does not matter. This is great because now I know I can still have a stop less in case of the event my trade opens and a reversal happens. Check mark. So clearly I do not understand how to program this into fxdreema. I read a reply you made in a post years ago explaining to make the stops loss the same amount of pips as the ⬆️trailing stop-loss. To no avail. If you can run my ea you’ll see the stop loss does exist on chart, But does not follow the input parameters I have set. It is wayyyy to far behind but that’s ok. It’s set as a regular stop loss. Issue arrives when it does move it follows the amount of pips and everything but does not bring itself behind the point(pips) have started making profit. It just stays like 100+ pips away but moves along with the profit. Not where it should be so ultimately it kills the whole strategy. I can’t even see how successful my ea really is if I can not master this.

As you have this set in yours, for trailing start to work at a set number of pips from the open you need to use pips offset (from open price)
