Im brand new and currently just "playing". Id like to collaborate with some people to get new cool trade ideas and build them into an EA.
Id like to eventually build a simple EA that is able to produce small profits but i want to learn from you fine people first!!!

Well, try checking profitable indicators because of your tested predictability. You can therefore program them in FXDreema...
I'm pretty sure no one will share projects. We are actually the most aware of idea snatching, we're here because we highly dislike being scammed and therefore want to create things our way. The method I gave you isn't a bad idea at all either.

@yarzu25 def not looking to scam anyone. Ive been a successful trader for over 3yrs now and just looking to continue to get good profits while i venture into other things. An EA seems to be the best way to go to continue to profit from FX without being behind the computer all the time

@japatte4 I guess keeping a trade journal where you write why you entered/exited the trade and trying to translate that in an EA will be the easiest way to get a profitable one. Good luck and don't forget to backtest

The thing is, number of strategies used humanly are very hard/almost impossible to implement in a bot. The very visual ones like : triangles; retracements; support/resistance... require a complex analyse, only a brain is able to master, especially when they are combined.
Automated strategies are using often simpler signals, like crossing ; specific value at a given time for exemple, in sum more binary things.
But i don't think you can come out profitable using such easy and common signals taken one by one. So you must find a system that allows you to combine several simple signals like these, but giving enough flexibility, to miss as less opportunities as possible. Like playing on lots size for exemple.
At least this is what i got since i'm on EA's, by that recently ^^ -
