Yes. I have this issue too. The fxdreema.exe loads, but project fails to load upon launch of the .exe. It just waits and waits and waits..!

Back to local v.088... which brings me to another tiny issue - sorry! Local v.088 doesn't start with the previously worked on project loaded.

Actually, I may have come across another loading issue in local build 089.

On creating a new project I get a white screen with error message:

Then, after re-starting fxDreema, the project is available in the list and seems to open OK.

My MT4 is stored in C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\414241DA7A1229935CE66AB277C3BC2F, and fxDreema in C:\Users{username}\fxDreema_089.

You manually deleted folders from fxDreema/Data?

No. Haven't deleted any folders. After installing, I copy over the data folder from the old fxdreema version to the new.

Thus I end up with fxdreema_088, fxdreema_089... etc.

Probably something went wrong while doing this, but anyway. Find a file named ".lastloaded.fxdb", open it with a text editor and write the project ID you want to load. Some project that exists as a folder in the same folder where ".lastloaded.fxdb" is.

I think the problem is that .lastloaded.fxdb isn't updating. Its staying the same. The permissions are all fine in Windows, so it must be something else. For example, lastloaded had a modified time of 13:17h. I launched fxDreema (local v.90), loaded project1 and made a minor change, left the computer till 13:45h and closed fxDreema. The modified time on lastloaded didn't change.

I re-launched fxDreema, and project2 came up first, despite being second in the list in the "Load Project" dialogue.

The lastloaded file still hasn't changed.

But mine changes And I don't remember doing modifications that can make this to fail What if all the installation is in nother folder?

I effectively did this when upgrading from 089 to 090. This is my usual method:

create a new folder c:\fxdreema_090
copy c:\fxdreema_089\data to c:\fxdreema_090
install the new version into c:\fxdreema_090

And the problem remained!

Well, when it does not happen to me I have no idea what it can be I did that and the file is updating right when I start the program. But I have very few test projects over there, so what could be wrong. Try to delete the other file - list.ini. Or try with no projects.

Ah ha! I have it! You gave me the clue in your last post. Removing list.ini didn't do it, but removing lastloaded did! Must have been a corruption somewhere in the file stopping the update.
