@gtoat777 I help everyone because I am often rewarded with good strategy ideas from some people I help. That is my way to improve my strategy knowledge. Being and advanced fxDreema user doesn't mean being a good trader, sadly.

@jazzybhai The reason is improving my trading knowledge by learning from other people. However, I didn't find a perfect strategy test althoug I have created more tha 200 EAs!

@l-andorrà .hi iandorra. I have revived a lot help from you. I sincerely appreciate it, For the topic of profitable EA. I would like to share my ideas. My opinion is that there is always a profitable ea with right conditions, but a bad Ea when the EA is in a wrong condition. an EA can not make money at wrong time . For my sideways market grid EA idea, I am trading it by hand. And I got more than 70% success rate on The pair eurgbp , as it is in the sideways market. The basic idea is that the EA cannot make money bythemself, but has to be manually find the right condition by human eye. Thanks . Wayne

This tread seems like an open/general tread and so i'm saying it here. And to answer this tread question is, YES.
Maybe i'm lack of strategies in playing with candle/lines/price, or not understand at all. Reading all your questions with all the strategies, calculating this and that, comparing prices and candles, i feel like i'm the only person with simple strategies. I just use custom indicators, but not much filter, hoping to make it a profittable entry. Maybe that's why my creation cannot make profit all the time.

Just read through that real quick, here are my thoughts:
The problem with moving averages is that history is not an indicator of future action, if it was we would all use the same indi and we'd all be good traders. This is why indicators are never THE answer. Indicators should be used to compliment or confirm price action. I would avoid wasting time basing solely on that 1 indicator. So if anything, that might be a good start.

What kind of price action have you integrated into your EA? Do you trade specific times of day? Times of the week?

hi @jsauter86 . I just use simple crossing MA for entry & trend. I haven't study about trading time yet.
